The first bug fix release for iPadOS 26 is now available through Software Update in Settings. This update addresses a couple of specific issues:

• The floating keyboard could change positions unexpectedly.
• VoiceOver might become disabled for some users after updating to iPadOS 26.

I don’t have much experience with VoiceOver, but the floating keyboard bug was definitely an annoyance, so it’s nice to see that resolved.

As far as security, according to the release notes, the only fix included in this update is for a font parsing vulnerability.

As always, it’s best practice to install bug fix updates as soon as you’re able.
