New Hidden Apps Folder Icon

iPadOS 18 adds the ability to hide apps in a special Hidden apps folder. In Beta 4, the design of this folder gets updated to use the visual format of other App Library folders. By design, you are still unable to determine if a user has any apps in the hidden apps folder.
Fixed Dark Mode icons When Using “Automatic” Home Screen Setting
There was some weirdness around app icons not respecting dark mode when using the ‘Automatic’ setting on the home screen. This has now been resolved.
Hide Completed Reminders In Calendar

There’s now a toggle in Apple Calendar that let’s you hide reminders after they have been completed, similar to the Reminders app itself.
Top Level iCloud Settings in Settings App

The new iCloud Settings screen receives a top level option in the Settings menu. It remains accessible in the Apple Account section, but is more easily accessed this way.
Tweaked Stocks Icon

The Stocks icon gets a small tweak for the first time in years. The white shading under the chart has been removed, and the graph lines are lighter and there are fewer of them.
Smart Script Improvements
There seems to be more of a delay when writing in the Notes app, before the Smart Script feature starts adjusting your handwriting. This is actually a good thing, as I found the feature to occasionally be distracting if updates are performed too close to where you’re writing.
