The popular PC and console indie game Dave the Diver will be released for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices on September 17. Developer MINTROCKET announced the release date in a YouTube video, revealing that the long-awaited mobile port would finally be expanding outside of China, where it’s been available since February 2026.
The mobile version of Dave the Diver includes the full game, with specific optimizations for touch. Beyond customizable touch controls, the mobile version offers features like tilting your device to pour a drink, a customizable field of view, and the ability to fast travel to specific NPCs.
Originally released in 2023 for PC, Dave the Diver is an adventure game that blends deep-sea exploration with restaurant management. By day, you dive into the mysterious, ever-changing Blue Hole to catch fish and fight sea creatures, and by night, you run Bancho Sushi, turning your catch into dishes while uncovering a lighthearted mystery story.
Dave the Diver will be free to download, with a $9.99 in-app purchase to unlock the full game. The existing DLC will also be available on mobile: the In the Jungle DLC will cost $4.99, and the Dredge DLC will be free to download.
The game is available for pre-order on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
