Two weeks after developer beta 3, Apple has released the fourth developer beta for iPadOS 27. We’re reaching the point in the beta cycle where the number of new features should start to slow down in favor of bug fixes and stability improvements ahead of the final release in September.

Here’s what’s new in this beta:

Siri AI Splash Screen

The first time you pull down the combined Siri AI/Spotlight search, the Siri UI now details that it is all new (and better).

More Siri UI Expressive Voice Options

For iPads that have access to the more expressive voice options for Siri, Apple has seeded additional voices in this beta. In prior releases, we’ve only had a single female and a single male voice.

We also get access to additional voices from additional nationalities: Australian, British, Indian, Irish, and South African.
