Update: iPadOS 26 Pubic Beta 4 has also been released.

A week after the last developer beta, iPadOS 26 Beta 7 is now available. On a M1 iPad Pro, the update comes in at about 10 GB.

I would expect very minor changes, if any, in this release, but Apple certainly surprised me with Beta 6 containing actual user-facing changes.

Anecdotally, on my M1 iPad Pro, I’m not seeing any of the animation hitches from the previous betas when doing things like returning to the home screen or opening Control center.

With the final version of iPadOS likely being released in September, Beta 7 is likely one of the final beta builds we’ll see before the Release Candidate.
