iPad revenue was one of the positive notes in Apple’s fiscal Q2 earnings report for the quarter ending March 25, 2025. Reported iPad revenue was $6.4 billion, up 15% from the year ago quarter. Customer satisfaction with iPad is reportedly 97% (I’ve always wondered how in the world they measure this). Q2 saw the release of both the M3 iPad Air with updated Magic Keyboard, as well as the 11th generation iPad (A16).

This is probably the last quarter of “easy” year-over-year comparisons for the iPad category. In 2024, fiscal Q2 was the last quarter of a year-long iPad hardware drought. For Q3 2025, the year-over-year comparison will be against last year’s launch of the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air.

Other Product Categories

Apple’s overall Q2 revenue was $95.4 billion, a 5% year-over-year increase. iPhone was up ~2%, and the Mac was up ~7%. The Wearables, Home, and Accessories category was down ~5% year-over-year. This category is home to products like the Apple Watch and Vision Pro, though I imagine the Apple Watch and AirPods do most of the heavy lifting in the numbers.
