Today, Apple released Developer Beta 6 and Public Beta 4 for iPadOS 27.

This release seems to be almost entirely a bug fix release, with no new user-facing features being noted.

Unfortunately, the only new things I’m noticing are bugs. I just filed feedback for these, but I’m noticing that:

• If you have any window open on an external display, Control Center on that display can no longer be invoked.
• Resizing windows on an external display is incredibly laggy.

My complaints about new bugs aside, it does feel like iPadOS 27 is continuing to come together. Some of the other issues that I and others have noted, like being unable to tap pinned conversations in Messages, or how the icons on the home screen would disappear when you connected your iPad to a display, have been addressed in this beta.
