iPadOS 18 FINALLY Adds the Ability To Format External Storage [VIDEO]

A much anticipated and requested feature has snuck its way into the iPadOS 18 beta. Noticed by Kaleb Cadle, iPadOS 18 adds the option to erase and reformat a connected storage device.

Format options are:

  • Fat32
  • ExFAT
  • APFS (including APFS encrypted!)

Fingers crossed🤞🏾 this feature makes it to final release.
