As expected, early reviewers have confirmed that the 2024 iPad Pro and iPad Air will be the first iPadOS devices to add the Battery Health feature already present in iOS. This will allow users to information such as:

• View battery condition
• View maximum battery capacity
• View battery cycle count
  

The battery health menu is not available on older iPads, so those users will have to continue to rely on 3rd party solutions.

Users will also be able to enable an 80% charge limit to help prolong the longevity of the battery.
