Heading into March, a new selection of games is coming to Apple’s Apple Arcade subscription service.

The tentpole release for the month is Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea.

Oceanhorn is a name that really takes me back. In the early days of the App Store, the original Oceanhorn was often held up as the closest thing we’d probably ever get to a classic Zelda-style game on iOS. I’ll admit that, as much as I tried with that first game, it never really clicked with me. The games are gorgeous, don’t get me wrong, but I think the constant Zelda comparisons may have set some unrealistic expectations on my part (and probably for others, too).

At their core, the Oceanhorn games are action RPGs focused on exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving.

Oceanhorn 3 will be an Apple Arcade exclusive and playable across iPad, iPhone, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV, and Mac.

Alongside Oceanhorn 3, Apple Arcade will also add several “plus” versions of existing App Store games on March 5. These releases feature no ads or in-app purchases.

• Pocket Love!+ is a life simulator where you move into a new home with your partner.
• Flow Free+ is a puzzle game centered around connecting matching colors with pipes.
• Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+ tasks players with managing a sweet shop alongside manga character Doraemon.
  

Apple Arcade remains a $6.99 monthly subscription that includes access to over 100 games across Apple’s platforms.
