When DaVinci Resolve launched on iPadOS in 2022, it shipped with only the Color and Cut pages available. While it’s been possible to unlock the other pages through unofficial methods, Blackmagic Design hadn’t formally expanded the iPad feature set….until now.

With the release of version 20.1, Resolve for iPad gains official support for the Deliver Page, a major step toward bringing desktop-class post-production to iPadOS.

What the Deliver Page Does

On desktop, the Deliver Page is where you export your finished project with precise control over formats, codecs, resolutions, frame rates, render ranges, and batch processing. Now, iPad users should have access those same advanced export options natively meaning you can:
– Define exact in/out ranges for export
– Choose from multiple file formats and codecs
– Batch render multiple jobs in sequence

Other New Features

This update also delivers a long list of enhancements and fixes, including:

– Keyframe and curves editor access in the Cut page
– Improved easing behavior and consistency across keyframes and curves
– MultiText character-level, paragraph, and alignment styling
– CSV import as column-aligned MultiText boxes
– Smart reframe options for pan-only, tilt-only, or combined adjustments
– Custom guides and snapping in the timeline viewer
– Safe area overlay extent toggles
– Audio sync from in/out points or markers
– Better right-to-left transcription handling
– On-the-fly timeline resolution switching in the Color viewer
– New Resolve FX tools like ColorTone Diffuser, Split Tone, and expanded Light Rays and Glow effects
– Blackmagic RAW 5.0 SDK support and faster decoding for high-resolution URSA Cine footage
– WebP image support and Samsung APV decoding
– Layout and performance improvements across small, dual-screen, and vertical video views

This release coincides with the DaVinci Resolve 20.1 update for macOS, which adds Apple Immersive Video support for Vision Pro workflows.

DaVinci Resolve for iPad is free to download from the App Store, with an optional in-app purchase to unlock full Studio features.
