Rumors are going around suggesting we might see an Apple Pencil 3 unveiled tomorrow, presumably via press release. I can’t say I’ve found myself wanting much else from the 2nd generation model. Maybe just a dedicated eraser since that’s the tool I switch most often between. The Surface Pen, and likely other styluses, offers this and it would be a decent time saver. Otherwise…magnetic tips? Fine, I guess. A hover feature that works on all iPads, like it should? Not likely. Supporting all iPad models with a single model? Now that would be interesting.
