Having a computer with always on connectivity is absolutely a luxury, but for those that need it, it’s incredibly convenient. The biggest problem with cellular iPads, outside of the $130 up charge, is that most people, it’s hard to justify another monthly cellular bill when you may only want to use it once or twice a month on your iPad.
Today, AT&T announced Unlimited Day Pass, a service that offers on-demand data for cellular iPads for $3 a day. This doesn’t require signing up for a data plan and is available to cellular iPad users, regardless of their carrier.

How It Works
According to AT&T’s press release, once you activate this service, you’ll have 24 hours of cellular data access on the AT&T network.
Users can activate this service right from the Settings app on their iPad.
