The final version of iPadOS 26.3 is now available for all iPads running iPadOS 26.

As expected, this is a pretty quiet release, focusing, presumably, on bug fixes and behind-the-scenes improvements.

New Features

Improved Android Transfer Experience

In a partnership with Google, iPadOS 26.3 brings a more seamless data transfer experience between iPadOS/iOS devices and Android devices.

Notification Forwarding

An EU-only feature, Notification Forwarding allows users to authorize third-party wearables to access their device notifications, helping bring those products closer to parity with the level of access the Apple Watch receives.

Security Improvements

This update comes with the usual smattering of bug fixes. The complete list of fixes can be found on Apple’s security releases page, but spans across multiple product areas like the kernel, lock screen, and the Webkit browser engine.

What’s Next?

Starting with iPadOS 26.4 and iOS 26.4, we should start seeing the pieces of the improved Siri, built on top of Gemini models, start to take shape. A more recent report from Bloomberg suggests this rollout may be slower than previous rumors suggested, but we’ll see in the coming weeks.

iPadOS 26.4 Developer Beta 1 is expected to be released within the next couple of weeks.

The update really did fix a lot of the previous operating system’s issues 🙂 Now I’m wondering: did they finally implement proper HDMI-out on the iPad Mini 7? I mean full support for things like FullHD and 16:9. The letterboxing on all sides was getting really annoying.

    1. If Apple ever improves that, it’ll be with a new model to encourage upgrades 😁

But they could have fixed it 🙂 I don’t think it’s difficult for them 🙂 Maybe I’m the only one who needs this? 🙂

      2. I totally agree they could fix it, I just don’t think they will. But I would love to see the iPad mini be every bit as capable as the iPad Pro.
