SlatePad provides perspective, insights, and tips about tablets and other Post-PC devices. Founded in 2023 by Riley Hill as a place to write about his obsession with new ways of computing that aren’t a traditional laptop or desktop computer. This site leans heavily into iPad content, but also covers other form factors like wearables, AR/VR, and whatever else comes next.

Riley Hill

Riley Hill has been working as a software developer for over 10 years, with focus on mobile development, primarily for iOS and iPadOS. He has assisted many clients in bringing their mobile visions to life in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

From the day the original iPad was released was released in 2010, he knew this would become his primary computer, displacing both his phone and laptop. He believes that despite what you read elsewhere, people can be incredibly productive on iPad.
