Update 07/01 – iPadOS 18.6 Public Beta 2 is now available.

The second beta of iPadOS 18.6 is now available for developers.

As expected, there aren’t any new user visible changes (that I’ve found), and I’m not seeing much chatter about this release anywhere else. iPadOS 18.6 will likely end up being small bug fixes and security improvements.

Just like beta 1, Apple’s release notes literally say:

There are no new release notes for this software update.

If that changes, or things are discovered, I’ll update this post.

I continue to expect iPadOS 18.6 to ship in late July or early August, ahead of iPadOS 26 in September.
