iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini

Apple has announced that recently released iPads will be eligible for its Self Service Repair program. Starting May 29, 2025, users will be able to purchase genuine repair parts, manuals, diagnostic kits, and more for the iPad Air (M2 and later), iPad Pro (M4), iPad mini (A17 Pro), and iPad (A16). These parts include displays, batteries, cameras, and external charging ports.

It was always a little strange to me that the iPad wasn’t added to this program at the same time the iPhone was, but it’s nice that it’s here now. Hopefully, this helps keep more iPads out of landfills as they fall out of official Apple support.
