ZBrush, a popular digital sculpting app from the desktop OS world, has received a significant update today on iPadOS. This update brings a number of new features from the desktop version to the iPad, along with some bug fixes.
Originally released for iPadOS in late 2024, ZBrush is a digital sculpting app that’s popular on Windows and macOS.

One of the major new features in version 2025.3.0 is the ZModeler tool, which is used for low-poly modeling and gives precise control of polygon geometry. This update also brings NanoMesh from the desktop to iPad. Nanomesh lets sculptors populate a mesh’s polygons with repeatable geometry, called NanoMeshes.

It’s great to see Maxon continuing to invest in the iPadOS version of ZBrush, making it yet another powerful Pro app for creators on iPad.
ZBrush for iPadOS is available in the App Store for free, but requires a subscription to unlock its full feature set.
