Popular indie app developers Tapbots have announced their upcoming Bluesky client, Phoenix.

The company confirmed on Bluesky that in addition to iOS, they intend to release clients for both iPadOS and macOS.

Tapbots intend to continue development and support of their Mastodon client, Ivory, but acknowledge that much of their clientele is migrating to Bluesky. There are plans to allow cross-posting between both Mastodon and Bluesky in the future.

Phoenix will be released this summer, accompanied by a public alpha test sometime before that.
