Apple today has updated most of the apps in its Creator Studio subscription bundle for iPadOS and macOS users. Bug fixes are noted for all of the apps, Pixelmator Pro and Logic Pro have received more interesting updates.

Final Cut Pro

Release Notes:

This update includes stability improvements

Final Cut gets bumped to version 3.2 and I wish there was some additional detail on this one. Hopefully this addresses some of the crashes some users have been seeing with common use.

One small improvement I’ve noted is that exporting your Final Cut Project, different from exporting your video, now uses the iPadOS 26 Background Tasks API so that it can run in the background for larger projects.

Live Activity for Final Cut Pro Project Exports.
Your project exports can now happen in the background.

Final Cut Camera

New Final Cut Camera icon

Companion app Final Cut Camera received a new icon alongside bug fixes and improvements. I appreciate that Apple brought the icon’s design up-to-date, but I honestly have no idea what I’m looking at.
