Update 01/13 – iPadOS 26.3 Public Beta 2 has been released.

It’s been a minute since we’ve had an iPadOS beta, with the holiday break and all, but Apple is back with the second developer beta of iPadOS 26.3 (build 23D5103d) .

iPadOS 26.3 is shaping up to be a bug fix focused release, and lord knows we need it. As with the first beta, Apple has not published any detailed release notes for beta 2, suggesting this update is primarily focused on system stability, performance improvements, and addressing lingering issues introduced in recent releases.

At the time of writing, beta 2 is available only to developers, but the corresponding public beta update is likely to follow within a week or so if Apple sticks to its usual cadence.

This post will be updated if any notable changes, fixes, or improvements surface before the next beta. If you notice anything new while running this release, especially related to multitasking, performance, or battery behavior, feel free to reach out and I’ll update this post accordingly.
