Perplexity has released an update to its iPadOS app, delivering a more optimized interface for tablet users.
The previous app wasn’t terrible, but it definitely gave off “stretched-out phone app” vibes.
Version 2.251205.1 updates the interface with a sidebar that lets you quickly access previous chats, a Discover/news tab (why?), a Library tab with your conversation history, and Spaces. Spaces are customizable, shareable workspaces in Perplexity where you can organize related threads, files, and settings into focused AI “hubs” for specific projects or topics.
Overall, these changes make the iPadOS app feel much closer to Perplexity’s web experience.
