The popular Destiny franchise officially adds its first mobile entry with the global release of Destiny Rising on iPadOS, iOS, and Android.

Not Exactly Destiny for iPad
First things first, Destiny Rising (not to be confused with the singing group Destiny’s Child, which I typed like a dozen times writing this) is not a port of Destiny 2. While I don’t think such a thing is impossible, I can’t imagine the amount of work that would required to bring the full game to devices as thermally constrained as an iPad or smartphone.
Developed by NetEase Games, of Marvel Rivals fame, in collaboration with Bungie, Destiny Rising is a brand-new game built for mobile devices and designed around shorter sessions and touch-first gameplay. The game includes both PvE and PvP modes, seasonal updates, and a storyline that expands on familiar factions and threats.
Optimized for Touch

As you’d expect, you can play with either touch controls or a controller, and high-end iPads will even support up to 90 FPS. It’s a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, much like other mobile live-service shooters.
The minimum system requirements are surprisingly generous, with all devices requiring at least 15 GB of storage.
